Three types of DJ's (Disk Jockey)
DJ#1 is someone who is a tight wad who tries to save money by doing it themselves. Once the party starts they quickly realize that being a Dj is very demanding and entails too much work. The general statement made is anyone can play songs, this is true but if it's that easy then why do we have Professional DJ's

DJ#2, the beginner!!! He doesn't have much if any experience and he's desperate to get it. So he won't mind working for next to nothing to build a resume. Pro's: He will do anything to please you at a ridiculously low price. Con's he may choke at the slightest issue, music database will be small and may ask you to use your music. Equipment or lack of will be unreliable and low quality not to mention may look bad and sound poorly. Have you ever heard you get what you pay for this applies to DJ''s

DJ#3, (ME) The seasoned Vet. Has experience and runs things smoothly, making your event a success as her or she is confident, comfortable and has fun. Pro's: This DJ has spent a significant amount of money to acquire a reliable and good looking top notch setup. This DJ will have the music you want and will even take songs request on the spot. This DJ will help you through all aspect of plaining to ensure your event goes as planned. Con's DJ #3 is more expensive than the other two. Yet you get what you pay for a quality service provided by a quality Professional DJ..
Food for thought.
When your guest reflect back on your event, they most likely won't remember what they ate or drank, they most likely won't remember what they were wearing. What most people do remember is the music/entertainment, good or bad. Honestly if the music is great you are much more likely to have a successful event even if everything else goes wrong, I have seen parities where the music save the party.
